22 October marks the birthday of Franz Liszt. To commemorate Frédéric Chopin, who died on 17 October 1849, and in celebration of Liszt's birthday, we bring these two composers together once again this October.
Tempo Chopin presents an evening devoted to the music of these two great Romantic composers.
The programme sets several of Chopin’s mature works in dialogue with one of Liszt’s most visionary pieces.
These intensely charged pieces offer listeners an hour of wonder and reflection, performed by young virtuosos.
