Description
This concert offers a musical journey through eras and styles from the grand salon of the Maison de Norvège. The first part is devoted to Chopin, presenting a panorama of varied pieces from the serenity of the Berceuse to the dramatic narrative of the Ballade. The program alternates late works with early ones, highlighting the influences that shaped Chopin throughout his life.
The second part explores the stylistic diversity of the piano repertoire: the luminous classicism of Mozart, the poetic impressionism of Debussy, the Brazilian colours of Villa-Lobos, and the grand narrative of Liszt in Vallée d’Obermann.
Each part showcases the expression and sensitivity of each pianist, for a concert rich in emotion and contrast.
